The E9 uses a glass panel that juts out from the bottom of the OLED screen. It’s a similar design to the E8P, but instead of a small silver foot in the center of the TV, the entire base is located behind the glass. The heavy, wide metal foot keeps the E9 standing securely, while sitting far back enough that you can only see the glass at a casual glance, reinforcing the illusion that it’s floating in the air. The supporting glass peeks out a tiny bit from behind the sides and top of the OLED panel, producing a micro-bezel framing the TV, around a thin black border that outlines the active part of the OLED.

The good news is that the RU8000 has a voice assistant that can answer your questions, search for media, and control smart home devices. The bad news is that the voice assistant is Bixby, Samsung’s own and perpetual runt of the AI litter. Bixby is functional enough, letting you ask for different movies based on director, check the weather, and find out general trivia. If you just want a simple tool for bringing up useful things on your TV and nothing else, Bixby is fine.

The couple of NU7300 models TVs on the list might be worth going for if you like their curved screen design – though they won’t give you any real performance advantage, and cost slightly more than their equivalent flat models.

Yes: the episode was still dark. And as cinematographer Fabian Wagner told TMZ, "[It] has always been very dark and a very cinematic show." Although he also told viewers they were wrong about it being too dark.

For many viewers tuning into Game of Thrones last night, what was supposed to be one of the show’s most remarkable and momentous scenes ever was marred by, well, darkness. The Battle of Winterfell, playing out in the season 8 episode “The Long Night,” took an arduous 55 nights to shoot, and was the largest-scale battle sequence in Thrones history. It was meant to be a final-season flex of epic proportions.

As more and more people look into upgrading their home theater setups with 4K displays, retailers are of course competing to win us over with great bargains and markdowns. Walmart’s sale on the LG 55-inch Class 4K Ultra HD smart TV might be one of the best we’ve seen in a while.

Samy also clubs in all the wall mount accessories as well as a smart TV remote along with the TV set. The TV weighs around 6Kg.

The A9 features a 6.3 inch display, 128GB of internal storage, four rear cameras, 6GB of RAM, and a 3800mAh battery. It has a single SIM card slot, but support for a microSD card.

The Toshiba Fire comes with all of its connectivity ports built into the back of the TV to one side. There is no additional special cable management in this model like you can find in certain premium ultra HD TVs. You simply plug your cables right into the ports on the model. These consist of the essentials but with certain key differences from some alternative ultra HD TV models –mainly that the Toshiba Fire only has 3 HDMI ports and just one single USB port. But, this also means that the Toshiba Fire edition does comes equipped with three HDMI, USB connectivity and other crucial connectivity slots that a modern 4K TV needs. Toshiba also gave the Toshiba Fire full HDMI 2.0 HDR and HDCP supported bandwidth in all three HDMI ports. This is a nice touch considering that similarly priced rival TVs from Sony only offer this through two of their HDMI ports.

The takeaway here is that, regardless of either company’s financial health, both are focusing on their current display technologies, and aren’t going to suddenly stop supporting any of the new TVs they’re currently bringing to market. So which set you pick should really just be down to what you want in your living room.
